For those that doin't understand global economics very well, and are led astray by Sen. Clinton's glorifying on Slick Willie's economic windfall, remember this: the bigger the wheel the slower it turns. Think of the our hand on a clock or watch. It turns very slowly in realtaion to the second or minute hands.

National economies are like the hour hands. They turn slowly. Clinton experienced the windlfall of prior Republican leadsership. Nothong more, and certainly nothing less. then, Bill continue to plunder and squander the epconomy.

So, if Hillary is taking credit for "Bill's" economic [lack of] prowess, then she must be a ... Republican.

re: "Democrats [who] still fondly recall the Clinton economic years and the balanced budgets and surpluses that came with them (even if the GOP-controlled Congress of that era drove some of the politics and policy toward balanced budgets)."

I once believed that the Republican Congress of that era had something to do with the prosperity of the 90's but, with a Republican President instead of Bill Clinton, the Republicans have proven to have NO sense of fiscal responsibility.

Republicans are a laughing stock across the nation now when they talk about "fiscal responsibilty" or "smaller government." Why didn't Republicans DO what they preach, having had the opportunity for six years???
