“In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01,” Wright wrote in a church-affiliated magazine. “White America and the western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.”
In one of his sermons, Wright said, “Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!…We [in the U.S.] believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God.”

In particular, I would strongly advise Senator Obama to read Mark Antony’s dramatic irony’s account at Caesar’s funeral which very skillfully talks about Brutus’s “ambition.” As they now move on with their campaign, it would be nice to “role play”…….Hillary as Brutus and Obama as Caesar….he then will understand the motives behind Hillary’s (Brutus) advertisements prior to his defeat at the polls and how he can turn the tables on his good so called democratic friend as they approach the mother of all battles.

The only way Billary could have come back was to sleeze up the talk about Obama. Many uneducated voters apparently bought into it. It makes me sick to see how desparate she and her husband are to get back into the White House. Show us your taxes Hillary, show us exactly what great experience you gained being first lady besides blackmailing Bill’s girlfriends. Obama needs to show some grit and fight back or they will destroy him, they do not consider the consequences of that, just win at any cost. Congratulations, your article yesterday was right on. It will be interesting to see how this discussion continues. The PA Govenor just issued a very supportive endorsement of Senator Clinton. If we learned something yesterday, it is this is not a done race, regardless of the Delegate totals today. Just as the Polls today, do not reflect the Polls 10 minutes from now. Obviously the Polls shifted last minute in Ohio and Texas. It will be interesting to see what sort of bump Sen Clinton gets out of this significant comeback.

I’m surprised that the people of Ohio fell for Clinton’s “I’m just like you, blue collar” campaign. She gave 5 million of her own money to finance her campaign. People with that kind of money in the bank aren’t blue collar, they are rich. If she was once on the blue collar level, she is not there anymore. Look at how she is spending on the campaign trail, its “champagne wishes and caviar dreams.” Out of the three candidates running; Obama has the least amount of money, he has the most humbled beginnings, and he is standing on his on two feet not on the shoulders of others. I hope the people of Pennsylvania are able to see through the Clinton facade. Just because Obama doesn’t look like you, doesn’t mean he is not like you.

It’s one thing for Barack Obama to have a minister, friend, and sounding board who supports and admires Louis Farrakhan and whose church gave him an award.

It’s another thing for Obama to dissemble about it.

That’s what Obama did recently when he told Jewish leaders in Cleveland, “An award was given to Farrakhan for his work on behalf of ex-offenders, completely unrelated to his controversial statements.”

In fact, the award, named for Obama’s minister Jeremiah Wright Jr., was given for “lifetime achievement” and for Farrakhan’s “influence on the African-American community.” The presentation of the award last December and the accompanying article in Trumpet, Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ magazine, never mentioned ex-offenders.

On the contrary, the article in the November/December issue of Trumpet begins by calling Farrakhan — who refers to Jews as bloodsuckers and whites as blue-eyed devils — an “icon.” It ends by saying that he “truly epitomized greatness.”

The article quotes Wright heaping praise on Farrakhan, whom he helped in organizing the Million Man March in Washington in 1995. Wright lauded Farrakhan as one of the giants of the African-American religious experience in the 20th and 21st centuries.

“When Minister Farrakhan speaks, black America listens,” Wright said. “His depth on analysis [sic] when it comes to the racial ills of this nation is astounding and eye-opening. He brings a perspective that is helpful and honest.”

Hailing Farrakhan’s “integrity and honesty,” Wright went on to say, “His love for Africa and African-American people has made him an unforgettable force, a catalyst for change, and a religious leader who is sincere about his faith and his purpose.”

Obama has said he found religion through Wright in the 1980s and consulted him before deciding to run for president. He prayed privately with Wright before announcing his candidacy last year.

After Newsmax broke the story of the award to Farrakhan on Jan. 14, Obama issued a statement purportedly addressing the issue. However, Obama ignored the main point: that his minister and friend had spoken adoringly of Farrakhan and that Wright’s church was behind the award to the Nation of Islam leader.

Instead, Obama adroitly said, “I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan. I assume that Trumpet magazine made its own decision to honor Farrakhan based on his efforts to rehabilitate ex-offenders, but it is not a decision with which I agree.”

In fact, not only is Trumpet owned and produced by Wright’s church out of the church’s offices, Wright’s daughters serve as publisher and executive editor.

Entranced by Obama, the media largely ignored the story. Having gotten away with sidestepping Wright’s adoring comments about Farrakhan, Obama went further on Feb. 24 when he spoke to Jewish leaders in Cleveland. This time he flatly said that the award was because of Farrakhan’s work with ex-offenders. To date, no news outlet has pointed out that Obama’s claim is false.

While Tim Russert asked Obama during the last Democratic debate about Farrakhan’s support of him, he never pressed him about his relationship to Wright. In his comments to Jewish leaders in Cleveland, Obama continued to tiptoe around Wright and what he stands for. As in the past, without specifying how he disagrees, Obama said he does not “necessarily” share Wright’s views, which include blaming America for the 9/11 attacks because of what the minister calls its racist and violent policies.

Obama told the Jewish leaders that the award to Farrakhan “showed a lack of sensitivity to the Jewish community.”

That is an understatement.

If John McCain’s minister, friend, and sounding board gave an award to white nationalist David Duke, would Obama have said the gesture showed “insensitivity” to blacks, or would he have issued a searing condemnation expressing outrage?

Obama went on to explain away Wright’s anti-Zionist statements as being rooted in his anger over the Jewish state’s support for South Africa under its previous policy of apartheid. As with his claim that the award to Farrakhan was made because of his work with ex-offenders, Obama made that up out of thin air. Wright’s statements denouncing Israel have not been qualified in any way.

Wright has equated Zionism with racism and has compared Israel with South Africa under apartheid.

Obama’s longtime ties to Wright, his failure to forthrightly condemn him, and his dissembling on his church’s award to Farrakhan only confirm that Obama is not to be trusted in the White House.

Senator Clinton and the media used the “Emmett Till Syndrome,” on Senator Obama in the Dixie state of Texas and the de facto segregation state of Ohio. These two polarized states along with the lazyness of blacks to come out and vote hurt the eforts of Obama. The 3 am call had nothing to do with the Dixie state of Texas voting for Senator Clinton because she has never made any foriegn policy decisions and never had security clearence to make decisions or be involved in policies abroad. If she did, then that should be a security breach within her impeached husbands time in office further letting us know that the Clinton campaign is polarizing and she has segregated the states in catagories that should let the real American public now what the future hould hold if she becomes President. She will “Cherry Pick,” what demographics she will decide to assist and all other’s will suffer here wrath of vengence. Senator points out FDR’s policies which did not turn out well for minorities and will not turn around minority disparities during or present time. If the Unity Man who pledged to clean up Washington goes nasty on Hillary, then how can he claim to rise above the fray of down and dirty politics?? So much for change…he is changing into a frustrated angry politician.

The Obama camp promises to give Hillary a taste of old fashioned politics – “Chicago” style…In my humble opinion, this proves BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that this man’s judgement is POOR. He should fire his advisors for even contemplating that. It’s Hillary Clinton for Christ’s sake…she thrives, survives, and feeds on nasty politics. Obama’s thinking that he will win dirty politics with HRC is analogous to an ice cube thinking that it is going to survive a journey in Hell because it goes through the gates in an insulated cooler. Team Hillary hasn’t even begun to exploit his voting record for Penn., but it is the republicans who hold a grenade just waiting to go off among the blue collar catholic democrats who constitute the core of Penn. voters. Wait until BO is asked to explain why he refused to adopt the language of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act (unanimously passed in Congress) in the IL. Senate. Pennsylvania’s Rick Santorum has already gone after him on this in the press and will probably fuel the fire as soon as the Democrats meet in Penn. Obama’s “doctrinaire liberalism” is going to generate more negatives for him in Penn that his NAFTA position in Ohio or national security questions in TX. She will end up with a BIG double digit lead.

Does anyone else find themselves wondering how the Democrats can possibly propose they should win our votes in November to manage the country when they can’t even apparently manage their nomination process? They’re actually talking about seating Florida delegates (as well as other states who were originally stripped of voting delegates)!?! This, after Florida (and others) was told…YOUR VOTES WILL NOT COUNT. Obama wasn’t even on the ballot(s). I have friends in FL who refused to go vote because they were told up front that their vote didn’t count. Why isn’t anyone outraged at this entirely mishandled process?!?!

What are the Dems saying about another primary vote in FL? Do they both want it? Why would they not just count the votes that were cast already? I would think Hillary would want to count the original primary.

The mainstream media is not reporting on Obama’s links to Rezko and Auchi. Auchi is a UK Billionaire with long term ties to Rezko. Auchi also had extensive ties to Saddam Hussein . Auchi helped facilitate the purchase of Obama’s home via a loan to Rezko wife for the purchase of property that was adjacent to Obama’s home. Given the strong ties between Obama and Rezko and Rezko and Auchi it is up to Obama to release all correspondence , contacts and financial dealings he had with Rezko and Auchi via Rezko. It would also be of interest to know if Saddam Hussein was trying to influence USA foreign policy via his contacts with Auchi.

Further, Obama’s constant refrain about being right about being against the Iraq war warrant further scrutiny in light of Obama’s links to Rezko and Auchi. Post 9/11 many considered Saddam a real and imminent threat to the world and the US. This was based on the overwhelming conclusion of world wide intelligence agencies that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and was in contact with Al Qaeda. In addition Saddam repeatedly violated sixteen United Nations Security Council Resolutions (UNSCRs) and had committed numerous human rights violations including the use of chemical weapons to kill his own people. Yet, despite this and the fact the majority of Obama’s Democratic cohorts supported the Iraq war Obama stood against taking any military action against Saddam. Why?

In hindsight maybe Obama was right but the reality is Saddam is no longer a threat , Al Qaeda is on the run in Iraq, and the US has not had another 9/11. So while many have strong arguments that the war in Iraq was a mistake, one could also make a case that the war in Iraq was the right decision. Time alone will render the final verdict. Again, given Obama’s claim that his judgment of the Iraq war was correct, questioning him on why he took a position against the Iraq war in the first place is fair play. Especially in light of Obama’s ties to Rezko and to Auchi via Rezko.

I hope Obama’s campaigns keeps attacking Hillary on her experience. She can never give a striaght answer on what she has accomplished and I would like to hear what she has done to thinks she is owed this seat. Sometimes you have to take off your Mr. Nice guy hat and roll up your sleeves and give the bully one good punch put your Mr. Nice guy hat back on and walk away, just to let people know you got it in you.

Uhm, isn’t anybody in the media interested in the relationship that Obama has with Rezko? Are you really going to just ignore the big dead elephant in the room and pretend to talk about how Obama is going to “push back” after Hillary’s Texas wins? The main reason that Obama is ahead in the delegate count is because of the media love-fest that created a halo around Obama’s head for several weeks. Millions of people have given to Obama’s campaign and only NOW are we getting a full disclosure on Obama’s supposed “bone-headed” one-time mistake. Wake up, media! I live in Europe, (British citizen) and have been following the democrat fight since the beginning because what happens there affects us as well, after a war mongering president who put us more at risk for attacks (due to distance) than the usa, comments amongst the everyday man on the street in europe is the hope that Hilary gets to be president with her husband as vice, look at it this way, you lot think you control the world so from non americans a Madame President who has international experience is far more appetising than an unknown african american who has no international experience, except to have a photo on european local news channels depicting him wearing muslem clothes. It’s one thing to hit your opponent, BUT Samantha Power hit voters. That is wrong! Obama is just as responsible for her comments in The Scotsman, as she is. You may enjoy hitting Hillary with the kitchen sink, I didn’t expect you to hit voters with the BATHTUB. My personal opinion is Obama should withdrawl, but that is just my feelings. I am one of those poor voters and I take this to heart just as serious as if it were racially motived.

I would like to see the “numbers crunched” without the states with caucuses included. Clearly the results from those states are not representative of what has gone in the primary states, which I think more truly reflect a general election. It is obvious looking at the percentage differences form the the caucus states that Obama campaign knows how to control that game. I suspect we will see a big difference in Texas between the popular vote percentages and the caucus percentages. Maybe now people will see how the game is being played.

In a story that could likely go under the radar, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will be in court tomorrow (Sept. 7)…well, in a manner of speaking. More precisely, a California appeals court is being asked to reinstate her as a defendant in a suit. Paul v. Clinton features Mr. Peter Paul, a Hollywood-businessman-turned-bitter-campaign-contributor (see his site here) against the Senator, Mr. Clinton and several members of the Senator’s campaign. Mr. Paul is being represented in his suit by the United States Justice Foundation.

Buzz up!on Yahoo!The bare-bone facts surrounding the case have to do with Mr. Paul’s agreement to help raise money for Clinton’s Senate campaign in 2000 (see his amended legal complaint for all the details here). Mr. Paul was the executive producer of the “Hollywood Tribute,” a star-studded farewell dinner and concert tribute for Mr. Clinton that raised funds for Senator Clinton’s campaign in 2000. Paul claims to have contributed at least $1.9 million to underwrite event expenses (which is considered “soft money” and provides a way candidates can get around the $2,000 “hard money” or direct contribution limit). In exchange for his donation, Mr. Clinton was apparently going to work for Mr. Paul and his companies as a rainmaker for one year. Mr. Paul’s suit claims that Mr. Clinton committed fraud by agreeing to work but never really intending to do so, and that Senator Clinton was aware of this arrangement (and thus should be liable as a “conspirator”).

A California district court disagreed with Paul, and Senator Clinton was dismissed from the suit based on a law that protects individuals when they are exercising their constitutional right to freedom of speech (known as anti-SLAPP provisions – California’s law is here). Anti-SLAPP laws protect individuals against lawsuits that intimidate people into limiting their protected free speech. It often occurs in situations where the big guy (by threatening to sue) is trying to shut up the little guy (who then caves and limits his speech). Here, the court indicated that Senator Clinton was exercising her free speech and was entitled to protection from the anti-SLAPP statute (and, thus, she was dismissed as a defendant).

Paul is now asking the appeals court is to reverse the lower court’s decision. In his appeal Mr. Paul claims that there is additional evidence to show that Senator Clinton violated federal campaign finance laws (which would disqualify her from receiving protection from the anti-SLAPP law — the idea being that a person cannot get protection from the law if they are engaged in breaking another law). Paul claims that this video is the proverbial smoking gun because it shows that she directly solicited his contribution in violation of a federal campaign law (see 2 USC Sec. 441a(a)(7)(B)(i) here). The law states that “expenditures made…at the request or suggestion of, a candidate…shall be considered to be a contribution to such candidate.” If the court first agrees to look at his evidence and then agrees with his argument, then they could determine that his contribution would qualify as a direct contribution to her campaign. It would then be subject to the $2,000 individual limit, which would violate campaign finance laws since it was greater than $2,000. Senator Clinton would be denied protection from the anti-SLAPP statute and would then be reinstated as a defendant in the suit.

Stay tuned, as the court should rule within a few weeks.

How do you know that the ad had anything to do with it? How do you know it wasn’t Republicans who crossed over to vote for Hillary because she was easier to beat against McCain. Was a poll taken about the effectiveness of that add? 54% of the people have said they would not vote for Hillary under any circumstances. Apparently that didn’t include primaries. Hillary is running like Obama is a Republican. She can call names, distort, throw mud you name it. But Obama is supposed to not do that because he said he wouldn’t? In other words she can be mean because she says she is mean but he can’t cause he says he’s nice. That would spoil his image. He has to remember that people know Hillary and they are getting to know him. We know and dislike Hillary so the meaner she is the meaner we think she is and the more we dislike her. If he has to stand up to her that is fine. We know Hillary and we believe she has met her match! Count the votes, count the states, count the delegates. She is not leading in anything but rhetoric and dirty tricks.

Concerning the mystery of what happened in the Ohio and Texas elections
evidently few of you realize that there was a confession from Rush Limbaugh that he asked his listeners from Ohio and Texas to vote for Hillary. Hillary knew about this because she acknowledged it during the election party. I don’t understand why the media continues to shower praise on Hillary for the Texas and Ohio wins when the whole thing was a fraud. You need to listen to Rush Limbaugh’s daytime program (4 hours, 11-2 depending on location because the program is carried nationwide and servicemen overseas) Be aware that the same thing may be planned for Pennsylvania!!!!!!!!!!!! They only go after the Big States.!!

I am a Fox fan and it is very embarrassing to continually hear honorable reporters such as John Kasik, Beltway Boys, and dozens of others continually “lay on the accolades and praises” to Hillary for the wonderful job that she did in Texas and Ohio; especially since Greta Vansusutran interviewed Laura Ingram, one of the talk show hostesses that played a key roll in this horrendous fraudulant act with Rush Linbaugh . Greta asked her if she would vote for Hillary, and the reply was “Heavens no, I would walk across a field of glass before I would vote for her!!!! So, in view of that remark, then the talk show hosts are using the election for their “fun and games” during the time they are on the air spewing out instructions to their audiences to perform fraudulent acts.

My opposition to this fraud is that we are legally given “One Right, One Vote,” and for some prankster to attack the voting system in this way is a violation of the Constitution and is stealing, and for the Fox media to continue to embellish this fraud is not only Unfair and Unbalanced” but is incomprehensible. Where is your integrity and your values?

“A penny earned is a penny saved,” my father told me, as we dropped the first few coins into the opening, and I heard them hit bottom and bounce. And I can’t tell you how excited I was when we broke it open, after a year or so, and I couldn’t fit another penny into the slot.

I tallied up my stash—close to five dollars, I recall— and decided what I would do with my small fortune. I bought a kite, and my imagination soared even higher than my beautiful Chinese box-kite as to what I would save up for next.

My pop gave me a powerful push in the right direction, when it came to savings: A penny saved really was a penny earned.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for the 1,406 people who lost much of their life savings when Superior Bank of Chicago went belly up in 2001 with over $1 billion in insured and uninsured deposits. This collapse came amid harsh criticism of how Superior’s owners promoted sub-prime home mortgages. As part of a settlement, the owners paid $100 million and agreed to pay another $335 million over 15 years at no interest.

The uninsured depositors were dealt another blow recently when the U.S. Supreme Court let stand a lower court decision to put any recovered money toward the debt that the bank owners owe the federal government before the depositors get anything.

But this seven-year-old bank failure has relevance in another way today, since the chair of Superior’s board for five years was Penny Pritzker, a member of one of America’s richest families and the current Finance Chair for the presidential campaign of Barack Obama, the same candidate who has lashed out against predatory lending.

During a recent campaign stop in south Texas, Obama met with San Antonio-area residents who had been particularly hard hit by the sub-prime meltdown. He expressed dismay over how lobbyists for the sub-prime lending industry had spent more than $185 million in the last several years for their cause.

“To give you a sense of what that kind of lobbying gets you,” Obama said, a “CEO of the largest sub-prime lender was promised a $100-million severance package at a time when more than two million Americans were facing foreclosure, including nearly 14,000 right here in San Antonio.”

Though Superior Bank collapsed years before the current sub-prime turmoil that is rocking the world’s financial markets – and pushing those millions of homeowners toward foreclosure – some banking experts say the Pritzkers and Superior hold a special place in the history of the sub-prime fiasco.

“The [sub-prime] financial engineering that created the Wall Street meltdown was developed by the Pritzkers and Ernst and Young, working with Merrill Lynch to sell bonds securitized by sub-prime mortgages,” Timothy J. Anderson, a whistleblower on financial and bank fraud, told me in an interview.

“The sub-prime mortgages,” Anderson said, “were provided to Merrill Lynch, by a nation-wide Pritzker origination system, using Superior as the cash cow, with many millions in FDIC insured deposits. Superior’s owners were to sub-prime lending, what Michael Milken was to junk bonds.”

In other words, if you traced today’s sub-prime crisis back to its origins, you would come upon the role of the Pritzkers and Superior Bank of Chicago.

One Failure to the Next

Superior was founded at the tail end of 1988 in the wake of the failed Lyons Savings Bank. The Feds were trying to keep a lid on the magnitude of the S&L post-deregulation crisis and were selling failed or failing thrifts for a song, along with a lucrative package of special benefits.

Chicago’s billionaire Pritzker family and their partners bought Lyons Savings for a quite reasonable $42.5 million, but were also given $645 million in tax credits. The kicker was that the buyers only had to come up with $1 million in cash, and got access to the $645 million, and all the bank’s deposits insured by the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation (FSLIC).

The Pritzker family’s Superior Bank “started life with enormous tax benefits and a substantial amount of FSLIC-guaranteed assets under a FSLIC assistance agreement,” said financial consultant Bert Ely in a Oct. 16, 2001, statement before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.

Ely stated, “Superior’s trick, or business plan” under Penny Pritzker’s leadership was apparently “to concentrate on sub-prime lending, principally on home mortgages, but for a while in sub-prime auto lending, too.” In December 1992, the Pritzkers acquired Alliance Funding, a wholesale mortgage organization.

In a 2002 article in In These Times about Superior Bank’s collapse, business writer David Moberg reported that the bank’s operations were “tainted with the hallmarks of a mini-Enron scandal…And yet the bank’s owners, members of one of America’s wealthiest families, ultimately could end up profiting from the bank’s collapse, while many of Superior’s borrowers and depositors suffer financial losses.”

Moberg wrote that “the Superior story has a familiar ring. … Using a variety of shell companies and complex financial gimmicks, Superior’s managers and owners exaggerated the profits and financial soundness of the bank. While the company actually lost money throughout most of the ’90s, publicly it appeared to be growing remarkably fast and making unusually large profits. Under that cover, the floundering enterprise paid its owners huge dividends and provided them favorable loans and other financial deals deemed illegal by federal investigators.

“Superior’s outside auditor, which doubled as a financial consultant, engaged in dubious accounting practices that kept feckless regulators at bay. Many individuals—disproportionately low-income and minority borrowers with spotty credit records—had apparently been exploited through predatory-lending techniques, including exorbitant fees, inadequate disclosure and high interest rates.”

When it collapsed in 2001, Superior Bank represented the largest failure of a U.S.-insured depository institution for a decade.

“The failure of Superior Bank was directly attributable to the Bank’s Board of Directors and executives ignoring sound risk management principles,” said FDIC Inspector General Gaston Gianni Jr. in a Feb. 7, 2002, report.

Banking whistleblower Anderson noted that “Superior failed at a time of historically low interest rates, high employment, a strong economy, and a growing housing market. … There was no reason for it to fail unless you consider gross negligence, a flawed business plan, and a conspiracy to deceive the regulators who were clearly asleep and were negligent themselves in their duties of protecting the class of underinsured depositors.”

Pioneering Work

Anderson said the bank owners and board members used Superior for their pioneering work in sub-prime lending, developing the financial instruments that helped set the stage for the current sub-prime meltdown.

“The Pritzkers like to say they did sub-prime lending to help the disadvantaged get into the home equity business, [but] it would be more accurate to state they ran a very large nation-wide predatory lending operation,” Anderson said, citing criticism of Superior’s lending practices in a letter written to the Office of Thrift Supervision on July 3, 2002, by the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, an association of more than 600 community-based organizations that promote access to basic banking services.

As an owner and board chair of Superior, Penny Pritzker also was named in a RICO class action suit on behalf of the more than 1,400 depositors at Superior, who initially lost over $50 million of their life savings.

“This is a story of two Americas with two sets of laws, one for the rich and powerful and another for the rest of us,” said Clint Krislov, the depositors’ attorney, in a recent interview. “My clients will all be dead, before they get back their money, given the Supreme Court’s recent decision to uphold the lower court, which put the predatory owners on the front of the line, if any money is recovered.”

The Pritzkers arrayed a powerful and well-connected legal team including former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment lawyer Lanny Davis, two ex-comptrollers of the currency, and two former General Counsels to the FDIC, the American Banker Magazine reported.

Given the political sensitivity of the sub-prime mortgage crisis, Anderson said he believes Penny Pritzker should resign her post as Obama’s Finance Chair, the person who oversees the campaign’s fundraising.

Otherwise, Anderson said, Pritzker’s presence could undercut Obama’s credibility on the issue of predatory lending and create a possible conflict of interest if Obama is elected President and tries to crack down on sub-prime abuses.

Obama campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor had no comment about the controversy surrounding Pritzker, but added: “Barack Obama has already made it very clear that he’s going to crack down on fraudulent brokers and lenders.”

One might wonder why Hillary Clinton’s campaign hasn’t jumped on this issue. Maybe it’s because Penny’s little brother, J.B. Pritzker, is a mover and shaker in the Clinton campaign.

In May of 2007, Jay Robert, aka, (J.B.) Pritzker, threw his support behind Hillary Clinton, representing a coup for her campaign by wresting the billionaire out of Obama’s home town of Chicago, and better still, the brother of Obama’s Campaign Finance Chair.

J.B. Pritzker announced he would head a new grassroots organization called Citizens for Hillary Clinton. Pritzker told reporters at the time, the new organization would go into states “where we haven’t fully organized” and seek out campaign supporters as well as raise funds.

Apparently the Pritzkers will be sitting at the head table at the Inaugural Ball if either Democrat wins.

I could continue with an explanation of Rev. Wright’s ideas as he gave those sermons, I could defend even his most inflammatory statements—- most of all because they were taken out of context with his whole body of work in his community. It is so easy to condemn when you take so little care to ’see the big picture’, but that is the nature of the goals of FOX, which is evidenced by its programming and approach to slanting the news. Part way into the March 18th Obama speech on skin color I felt a collective sense of disbelief, then an indrawn breath, slowly followed by a gathering sense of determination, and a little smile…

There’s a perfect storm brewing and Mrs. Clinton has got to be jumping up and down with glee!

Thanks to Fox News, Americans everywhere have been able to peek into what’s behind Barack Obama’s twenty years of affiliation with “Rev” Wright and his church’s “GD America” hate-filled racist agenda.

In my opinion the only thing Obama could have done in his speech that might have placated white Americans is to announce his withdrawal from that church, and his utter repudiation of the pastor who led it.

But in his speech Obama tried to distance himself from the grossly divisive and insulting “Rev” Wright sound bites, because they’ve been exposed. And went on to vigorously defend the church, and his own continuing association with “Rev” Wright, his “spiritual” adviser.

Obama is half black, half white, he might have had a chance to represent Americans of all skin colors. But he chose instead to defend the divisive views of a radical minority that chooses to hate America and define itself as victims.

In his speech Obama even insulted conservative talk show hosts, saying:

“Talk show hosts and conservative commentators built entire careers unmasking bogus claims of racism while dismissing legitimate discussions of racial injustice and inequality as mere political correctness or reverse racism…. This is where we are right now. Its a racial stalemate we’ve been stuck in for years. Contrary to the claims of some of my critics, black and white, I have never been so naïve as to believe that we can get beyond our racial divisions in a single election cycle, or with a single candidacy – particularly a candidacy as imperfect as my own.”

Sorry Obama, that fight took place in the 60’s, and your side justifiably won. “Racial stalemate” is NOT “where we are right now.”

This country nurtures millions of people of all skin colors who live the American dream because they believe in free enterprise, work hard, apply their own unique talents and skills, and EARN what they have. The failures are those who continue to see themselves as helpless victims of this or that from the past, and who believe that they are ENTITLED to a free ride on the backs of those who succeed.

It is my hope that Fox News and conservative commentators do not let this one slide. We’re a nation at war with a foe that would delight in the mass murder of many more than 3,000 Americans on our own soil.

I was amused at Fox’s inability to find a credible African American commentator to denounce the Obama speech. Their desire to continue to “stir the pot” was almost laughable were it not so sadly obvious. I am a registered Republican who has no intention of voting for anyone other than Obama in the general election. Obama gave a masterful speech that clearly addressed any concerns about his former minister. Major Garrett gave the most insightful critique after the speech. Surely he won’t be at Fox for long. His was an unbiased, reasoned analysis that showed unbiased journalistic integrity that I am sure made old Britt’s blood boil!!!!

What we have witnessed in these past few days is that Obama’s words were just empty words. He first said his relation with Rezco was a 5hr job with the Law firm he was working, then he only recieved $80,000 from Rezco it looks like there is more than meets the eye, he received from the scumlord over $250,000. Then he told us he had never hear or knew about Wright’s hate and racist sermons. EVen though he has known this man for twenty years, considers him his spiritual leader and mentor and told him he could not do his speach a year ago…Today he has admitted he did know but does not agree..this is BS any decent human being that has heard or will hear Wrights words full of hate for Whites and more so for America would have their hair stand up from anger of such words!

Obama needs to bow out of the race now, with dignity, instead of insuring that the President is” more of the same McCain”. xclusive: Obama Connection to Terrorists Revealed by Talk Show Host

There is a far-reaching scandal brewing for presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, thanks to a radio talk show host based in Oregon. Syndicated talk host Laurie Roth’s revelations make the news story about Obama’s relationship with a racist, anti-American pastor look like child’s play.

A top official at the Pentagon during former-President George H. W. Bush’s Administration and a former CIA intelligence officer maintain that Barack Obama and former Weather Underground honcho William Ayers funneled money to Professor Rashid Khalidi, a known terrorist sympathizer.

Khalidi serves on the faculty of Columbia University in New York and is best known as the professor who invited Iranian President Ahmedinejad to visit Columbia University after he finished his speech at the United Nations. According to confidential sources, Khalidi has direct ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a group on the US State Department’s list of known terrorist groups.

“One source for this information was once a top military figure in the 1990s. He doesn’t take making allegations lightly. If he says something happened, believe me, it happened,” said syndicated radio talk show host Laurie Roth

“Another source is a former agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, who is an expert in counterterrorism,” said Roth, who broke the story on her show Friday night.

“I certainly don’t want to demonize someone because they are a woman, black or liberal running for President. I love the idea that in our culture, a black and woman can now run. However, it does matter to me with any candidate, their consistency with good judgment, their voting record, their association with people with questionable backgrounds and commitment to our country,” she said during her show.

Here are the connections as described by very reliable sources, who possess impressive military, national security and intelligence backgrounds:

Allison Davis, who hired the young Obama into his small, Chicago law firm Davis, Miner, and Barnhill in 1993, left the firm in late 1999-2000 and became a housing developer. Davis went into business with Tony Rezko, the indicted businessman who’s scheduled to go on trial for corruption in Illinois, and who was a major fundraiser for Obama.

Davis met Rezko when he was a client of Davis, Miner, and Barnhill. Rezko is currently under indictment in Illinois for demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state government business contracts under Governor Blagojevich. Obama was identified as one of the politicians cited in the indictment as having received political contributions from Rezko out of his kickback funds.

Tony Rezko hosted fundraising events for Obama in his home and was on Obama’s US Senate campaign finance committee which collected $14 million for his campaign against conservative Alan Keyes, an African-American who served as an Ambassador during the Reagan Administration. In order to avoid a scandal during his presidential campaign, Obama returned $85,000 that Rezko and his family had donated to him.

In early 2000, while Obama served as a state senator in Illinois, he also sat on the board of the nonprofit Woods Fund. The Woods Fund is a Chicago-based foundation that claims its primary mission is to make financial grants in order to increase and/or create opportunities for disadvantaged people and low-income communities.

The chairman of the Woods fund board in 2000 was Howard Stanback, who like Obama also had connections to Davis, according to the reliable sources.

Davis submitted a grant request to the Woods Foundation for a $1 million investment in his development partnership, Neighborhood Rejuvenation LP, that would be used to finance low-income senior-citizen housing. Under normal circumstances, a board member is supposed to recuse himself or herself from decisions where they have a business or personal relationship.

Obama, who did not recuse himself, voted to approve Davis’ grant request. Stanback, on the other hand, abstained from voting. The housing project, which also received a $5.7 million loan from the city of Chicago, in turn donated almost $70,000 in political contributions to Obama’s presidential campaign.

In the past, Rezko gave Obama — who served as an Illinois State Senator — his first two political contributions in 1995, $1,000 each from two of his companies. In 1998, State Senator Obama wrote letters to city and state officials urging them to fund a Davis-Rezko housing project. It was an obvious quid pro quo arrangement.

Another major fundraiser for Obama is William Ayers, who also sat on the board of the Woods Fund with Obama and is a professor at the University of Chicago.

Bill Ayers, along with his wife Bernadine Dohrn, was an active member of the Weather Underground, a radical left-wing group that advocated violence against the United State. Both Ayers and Dohrn went “underground” in 1970 after others in the group accidentally detonated a bomb in a Greenwich Village (New York City) townhouse. The blast killed three of the group’s members including Ayers’ girlfriend at the time.

While Ayers and Dohrn were hiding from law enforcement, the Weather Underground participated in the bombings of the US Capital, the Pentagon and a State Department building. In 1981 Ayers and Dohrn turned themselves in to federal authorities, but all charges were dropped as a result of alleged “government legal misconduct.” In his 2001 memoir, Ayers wrote, “I don’t regret setting the bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.”

Ayers and Dohrn are known to have held at least one fundraiser for Barack Obama in their Chicago home.

During Obama’s last year on the board of The Woods Fund (2002), he participated in awarding grants, including a $70,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, a Chicago-based group founded by Rashid and Mona Khalidi.

In another suspected quid pro quo arrangement similar to those with Ayers and Rezko, Rashid Khalidi also held a fundraising event in his home for Barack Obama.

In the Middle East, Rashid Khalidi was known as a man to be reckoned with. From 1972 through 1983, Khalidi was the director in Beirut of the official Palestinian press agency, FAFA. His wife worked there as well.

According to sources, when the Khalidi’s left Chicago for Columbia University in New York, Rashid was honored with the Edward Said Chair in Arab Studies at that Ivy League university. Their goodbye party in Chicago included testimonials from Bill Ayers and Barack Obama.

“What other fund raising connections does Obama have? How many times can you look the other way in church and with fund raising situations with more than questionable people?” asked Ms. Roth.

“We all make mistakes in judgment with people and their backgrounds sometimes, but usually we learn and pick better friends and associates. How come Obama seems to have continued hanging around more than questionable characters with anti American backgrounds and some with criminal behaviors? Now one is being indicted, Tony Rezco, who raised a ton of money for Obama,” she said.

“As President, how much would he look the other way when dealing with national security and dangers to our country? How much would he listen passively to terrorist leaders then lecture us on our ugly American status? This kind of change is not what our country needs!” added the popular talk show host, whose show is syndicated by USA Radio Network

In a related story, during an interview on Thursday morning (March 20) with Black Panther leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, Fox News Channel viewers learned that Shabazz’ group endorsed and supported Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States. Even on Fox — an organization wrongly accused of being “conservative” — the interviewers were careful in their questioning of Shabazz, a recognized racist and anti-American radical.

The New Black Panther Party leader proudly announced on Fox News that his organization endorsed and Obama for President.

“While some people may say that Barack Obama has no control over who endorses him, he should have control over what endorsements are posted on his websites,” said Laurie Roth, who, besides hosting a popular talk show, is a regular columnist for NewswithViews.com

“The endorsement of the New Black Panther Party was posted on Barack Obama’s website. Why was this tolerated unless Barack Obama wanted their endorsement? If he does not want their endorsement, how much control over his staff is he going to have once he’s elected President?” asks Mike Baker.

The New Black Panther Party is openly anti-White, anti-Jewish, and anti-America. After Obama’s Tuesday damage-control speech, his campaign pulled the Black Panthers’ endorsement story off their website.

It’s also been reported that Obama’s campaign staff was allowed to fly a Che Guevara flag inside his office, according to NewsMax

“Do these revelations demonstrate a pattern of Barack Obama’s judgment? If so, then I do not want him dealing with world leaders. I do not want these groups having access to the White House. Do you?” asks the New Jersey-based political strategist.

xclusive: Obama Connection to Terrorists Revealed by Talk Show Host

There is a far-reaching scandal brewing for presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, thanks to a radio talk show host based in Oregon. Syndicated talk host Laurie Roth’s revelations make the news story about Obama’s relationship with a racist, anti-American pastor look like child’s play.

A top official at the Pentagon during former-President George H. W. Bush’s Administration and a former CIA intelligence officer maintain that Barack Obama and former Weather Underground honcho William Ayers funneled money to Professor Rashid Khalidi, a known terrorist sympathizer.

Khalidi serves on the faculty of Columbia University in New York and is best known as the professor who invited Iranian President Ahmedinejad to visit Columbia University after he finished his speech at the United Nations. According to confidential sources, Khalidi has direct ties to the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), a group on the US State Department’s list of known terrorist groups.

“One source for this information was once a top military figure in the 1990s. He doesn’t take making allegations lightly. If he says something happened, believe me, it happened,” said syndicated radio talk show host Laurie Roth

“Another source is a former agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, who is an expert in counterterrorism,” said Roth, who broke the story on her show Friday night.

“I certainly don’t want to demonize someone because they are a woman, black or liberal running for President. I love the idea that in our culture, a black and woman can now run. However, it does matter to me with any candidate, their consistency with good judgment, their voting record, their association with people with questionable backgrounds and commitment to our country,” she said during her show.

Here are the connections as described by very reliable sources, who possess impressive military, national security and intelligence backgrounds:

Allison Davis, who hired the young Obama into his small, Chicago law firm Davis, Miner, and Barnhill in 1993, left the firm in late 1999-2000 and became a housing developer. Davis went into business with Tony Rezko, the indicted businessman who’s scheduled to go on trial for corruption in Illinois, and who was a major fundraiser for Obama.

Davis met Rezko when he was a client of Davis, Miner, and Barnhill. Rezko is currently under indictment in Illinois for demanding kickbacks from companies seeking state government business contracts under Governor Blagojevich. Obama was identified as one of the politicians cited in the indictment as having received political contributions from Rezko out of his kickback funds.

Tony Rezko hosted fundraising events for Obama in his home and was on Obama’s US Senate campaign finance committee which collected $14 million for his campaign against conservative Alan Keyes, an African-American who served as an Ambassador during the Reagan Administration. In order to avoid a scandal during his presidential campaign, Obama returned $85,000 that Rezko and his family had donated to him.

In early 2000, while Obama served as a state senator in Illinois, he also sat on the board of the nonprofit Woods Fund. The Woods Fund is a Chicago-based foundation that claims its primary mission is to make financial grants in order to increase and/or create opportunities for disadvantaged people and low-income communities.

The chairman of the Woods fund board in 2000 was Howard Stanback, who like Obama also had connections to Davis, according to the reliable sources.

Davis submitted a grant request to the Woods Foundation for a $1 million investment in his development partnership, Neighborhood Rejuvenation LP, that would be used to finance low-income senior-citizen housing. Under normal circumstances, a board member is supposed to recuse himself or herself from decisions where they have a business or personal relationship.

Obama, who did not recuse himself, voted to approve Davis’ grant request. Stanback, on the other hand, abstained from voting. The housing project, which also received a $5.7 million loan from the city of Chicago, in turn donated almost $70,000 in political contributions to Obama’s presidential campaign.

In the past, Rezko gave Obama — who served as an Illinois State Senator — his first two political contributions in 1995, $1,000 each from two of his companies. In 1998, State Senator Obama wrote letters to city and state officials urging them to fund a Davis-Rezko housing project. It was an obvious quid pro quo arrangement.

Another major fundraiser for Obama is William Ayers, who also sat on the board of the Woods Fund with Obama and is a professor at the University of Chicago.

Bill Ayers, along with his wife Bernadine Dohrn, was an active member of the Weather Underground, a radical left-wing group that advocated violence against the United State. Both Ayers and Dohrn went “underground” in 1970 after others in the group accidentally detonated a bomb in a Greenwich Village (New York City) townhouse. The blast killed three of the group’s members including Ayers’ girlfriend at the time.

While Ayers and Dohrn were hiding from law enforcement, the Weather Underground participated in the bombings of the US Capital, the Pentagon and a State Department building. In 1981 Ayers and Dohrn turned themselves in to federal authorities, but all charges were dropped as a result of alleged “government legal misconduct.” In his 2001 memoir, Ayers wrote, “I don’t regret setting the bombs. I feel we didn’t do enough.”

Ayers and Dohrn are known to have held at least one fundraiser for Barack Obama in their Chicago home.

During Obama’s last year on the board of The Woods Fund (2002), he participated in awarding grants, including a $70,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network, a Chicago-based group founded by Rashid and Mona Khalidi.

In another suspected quid pro quo arrangement similar to those with Ayers and Rezko, Rashid Khalidi also held a fundraising event in his home for Barack Obama.

In the Middle East, Rashid Khalidi was known as a man to be reckoned with. From 1972 through 1983, Khalidi was the director in Beirut of the official Palestinian press agency, FAFA. His wife worked there as well.

According to sources, when the Khalidi’s left Chicago for Columbia University in New York, Rashid was honored with the Edward Said Chair in Arab Studies at that Ivy League university. Their goodbye party in Chicago included testimonials from Bill Ayers and Barack Obama.

“What other fund raising connections does Obama have? How many times can you look the other way in church and with fund raising situations with more than questionable people?” asked Ms. Roth.

“We all make mistakes in judgment with people and their backgrounds sometimes, but usually we learn and pick better friends and associates. How come Obama seems to have continued hanging around more than questionable characters with anti American backgrounds and some with criminal behaviors? Now one is being indicted, Tony Rezco, who raised a ton of money for Obama,” she said.

“As President, how much would he look the other way when dealing with national security and dangers to our country? How much would he listen passively to terrorist leaders then lecture us on our ugly American status? This kind of change is not what our country needs!” added the popular talk show host, whose show is syndicated by USA Radio Network

In a related story, during an interview on Thursday morning (March 20) with Black Panther leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, Fox News Channel viewers learned that Shabazz’ group endorsed and supported Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States. Even on Fox — an organization wrongly accused of being “conservative” — the interviewers were careful in their questioning of Shabazz, a recognized racist and anti-American radical.

The New Black Panther Party leader proudly announced on Fox News that his organization endorsed and Obama for President.

“While some people may say that Barack Obama has no control over who endorses him, he should have control over what endorsements are posted on his websites,” said Laurie Roth, who, besides hosting a popular talk show, is a regular columnist for NewswithViews.com

“The endorsement of the New Black Panther Party was posted on Barack Obama’s website. Why was this tolerated unless Barack Obama wanted their endorsement? If he does not want their endorsement, how much control over his staff is he going to have once he’s elected President?” asks Mike Baker.

The New Black Panther Party is openly anti-White, anti-Jewish, and anti-America. After Obama’s Tuesday damage-control speech, his campaign pulled the Black Panthers’ endorsement story off their website.

It’s also been reported that Obama’s campaign staff was allowed to fly a Che Guevara flag inside his office, according to NewsMax

“Do these revelations demonstrate a pattern of Barack Obama’s judgment? If so, then I do not want him dealing with world leaders. I do not want these groups having access to the White House. Do you?” asks the New Jersey-based political strategist.

I really believe Clinton has slowed Obama’s momentum. I also find it interesting that whenever Hillary tries to bring facts to light, she is viewed as play “bad politics” but when Obama does it nothing is said. I really think everyone should watch a cable program called Hannity & Colmes. I also believe this will not make it here because they do not want anyone to know anything about Obama.
