The candidates are both living in different political worlds that existed at the beginning of the Bush presidency. I am everything I can think of regarding the Chicago Daly political machine’s supposedly trained by them candidate for the highest office in the land. Of course, I’m speaking of Senator Barack Obama. I am a total anti-Obama phile.

I don’t like everything McCain stands for but he is the best available option that is available to fit the beliefs of a former Democrat. I don’t like the new majority tactics of the Democratic party and it’s dark horse candidate. I also am afraid the the Obama trojan horse and the surprises it may hold.

Is the grass always greener with change? I think not!

Wow what are you people talking about,american people need to wake up and see whats going on in the world.For one thing the media isn’t showing any of the positive things were doing in iraq,all i hear about is more soildiers killed.If people wern’t so lazy they will investgate on thier on and see the schools we built,electricity were providing people who never had it,running water,and with the relief that they can be free and enjoy the freedoms we have,why be gready,we should share the freedom we enjoy.

I just showed the quote to a fellow worker here. I asked him, “what do you think Obama just said”? He replied..”he said nothing”. Look at Obama’s words again, he’s literally diverting from the question and saying nothing, no substance or logic whatsoever. Without the safety of a press release, pre-written speech or teleprompter, he’s utterly useless. What’s been the criticism of Obama throughout his campaign? Obama says diverts and says nothing. At least he hasn’t shifted his “policy” on that score.

I think, had we all known about the locals turning against Al Qaeda at the same time , which is a part of what made the “surge successful, we would have been more optimistic. Without the local support it would never have worked. Barack Obama is simply saying “knowing what I knew then, No” The surge is but one component that has contributed to the pre 2004 levels of violence we are experiencing now.

“Obama in an interview with ABC News that’s posted at the bottom of this story in which he says if he had it to do all over again he would still oppose the troop surge. He told ABC what he did not expect or anticipate in Iraq was the Sunni uprising against Al Qaeda and among the Shi’ites decision to play ball politically via cease fires rather than continue their campaign of violence.”

Its an honest answer and Obama knows exactly what he is doing.

As a Veteran of 40 years service, I am glad I do not have to serve under him. What a joke. I am still independent and do not care much more for McCain….but at least, I feel that McCain is better qualified.

I disagree with war with all my heart…I know because I have been in three of them and wounded twice. However, I disagree more with appeasement and trying to “understand” our enemies. Understanding to them is weakness to be exploited.
